The Closing and Diploma Conferment Ceremony of the Academic Years 2010-2013 and the Opening Ceremony of the New School Year 2013-2014.
It was on the 20th of September, 2013 that Ba Ria – Vung Tau Teacher Training College (BR-VT TTC) celebrated the closing and diploma conferment ceremony of the academic years 2010-2013 and the opening ceremony of the new school year 2013-2014.
The ceremony was honorably attended by Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, the alternate member of the Party's Central Committee, the vice secretary of the provincial party committee and the president of the provincial People’s Council; Mr. Vo Ngoc Minh, Chief of Propaganda and Instruction Section; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, head of BR-VT Department of Education and Training and leaders of various departments, sections, and institutions in and out of the province as well as the school staff of BR-VT TTC, and more than 900 students of different courses, academic fields and forms of study.
It was recorded in the ceremony that 578 students of regular training courses namely K14 and K37 as well as students of the in-service training courses called 5F, 6F and 8E were given college degrees. It was the academic years of 2010-2013 that the school put into use the credit-based teaching and learning and saw 67,8% of 3-year tertiary students and 37,6% of 2-year tertiary students graduating with fairly good and better results.
At the ceremony, the school and its 6 officials as well as 2 students were granted the certificates of merits by the Provincial People’s Committee in turn for their outstanding achievements in the school year 2012-2013 and for their excellent performance in the 2013 National Olympic in Information Technology. In addition, 24 good and excellent graduates, 17 students with excellent achievements in the school year 2012-2013 and 16 students with good results in the National E-learning Competition were also commended by the school.
The ceremony also witnessed the granting of scholarships from different sponsors, namely the Provincial Study Encouragement Association and the School Study Encouragement Association to 8 and 14 students respectively.
The closing and diploma conferment ceremony of the academic years 2010-2013 and the opening ceremony of the new school year 2013-2014 did make a deep impression on its attendants.
